Faculty

  • How do I request Time Off?  First, submit written (email) approval to your clinic director. Once approved, submit a request through the Time Off feature in Paylocity.

  • The updated version of the Policies and Procedures Manual for the NECO owned and operated clinics is now on this site.

  • Slides from the Provider Compliance Training are available to view under the Compliance Training folder.

  • Are you planning on publishing soon? The library has several resources that may of help to you. https://library.neco.edu/writing/citing

  • For lecture, students must be referred for tutoring by either meeting with the instructor of record or with Marianna to discuss their concerns.

  • For lab and clinical tutoring, students must be referred by a faculty member in the course or their preceptor from their clinical site.

  • In order to refer a student for any type of tutoring, please contact Marianna Tompourou, our Associate Director of Student Accessibility and Advising (first floor).

  • A couple of reminders about tutoring:

    • As a general rule, it takes about a week to place student with a tutor

    • Tutoring is typically done in small groups (no guarantee for individual tutoring)

    • Didactic and lab tutoring will be done by peer tutors. Given that tutors are also students, they are not expected to tutor during quiet study and exam periods.

    • Residents are only used for the OD1 group review sessions and referrals from preceptors in clinic.
